What Is Your Favourite Flower/Season?
I love summer! All the different shades of blue - from the pale blue of Scabious to the deep blues and purples of Delphiniums - they all go wonderfully well with lots of pinks and greens. My most favourite flower of all is the Gloriosa Lily. But equally, I love all the seasons as they all bring with them a fantastic variety of different colours and textures.
What's The Best Job You have Being Involved With?
I have been in this industry virtually all my working life and have been involved in lots of prestigious events; Chelsea Flower Show, Henley Regatta, The British Grand Prix, Royal Ascot and many more. I love to meet different people and characters all with their own special skills - it is fantastic to watch people who are the best in their field.

What Is Your Favourite Flower/Season?
It changes every season, every week or is that every day. I love many different flowers I couldn't say I have a particular favourite, as I walk round the market or look on the Dutch suppliers van I see something that catches my eye, it's often an exceptional specimen of something quite ordinary, or exotic, I have to have it despite the price. At the moment I have to say my favorite flowers are hydrangeas due to the size of the flowers and the beautiful textures and colours they are available in.
What's The Best Job You have Being Involved With?
I haven't done it yet, the challenge is that my best days work is yet to be done.
But to date creating the designs for various magazines and demonstrations around the U.K and Europe have been the most interesting.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Florist?
Well, I used to enjoy getting up at 4am and going to the flower market. The roads were quiet and most sensible people would still be in bed! The minute I turned into the market it was hustle & bustle, another world. Now the flowers arrive into the shop direct from Holland but it's still a great thrill to lift the lid off the boxes and find the delights inside.
What Is Your Favourite Style Of Arrangement?
My favourite style of arrangement is masculine, large and structured, with Helaconias, Strelitzia, unusual branches and dried tropical bark.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Florist?
I love being able to put my creative flair into my work. I enjoy working with lots of different flowers and creating unique, bespoke floral designs. Having a strong passion for flowers helps me get the most out of my job and work to my full potential.
What Is Your Favourite Style Of Arrangement?
It has to be a stylish, structured modern arrangement, which allows you to use different techniques and gives you the freedom to create something unique.

What's The Best Job You have Being Involved With?
Being involved in a 'celebrity' style wedding where no expense was spared is my most memorable job. It was a priviledge to work with an abundance of chic and sophisticated flowers. To see the church and venue (New Hall, Sutton Coldfield) adorned in creations designed by the team was very rewarding.
What Is Your Favourite Flower/Season?
I would say Stocks because of their beautiful fragrance. They always remind me of the summer - my favourite time of year!
